Selection criterion:

  • Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for admission to doctoral studies at the university.
  • Applicants must submit all required documents.

Applicants can apply for a PhD program at the University of Queensland’s School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering.

Scholarship Benefits:

Applicants successfully selected by the University of Queensland for this funding opportunity will be awarded US$32,000 per year for up to 3.5 academic years with the possibility of extension under the UQ and RTP Scholarship Policy.

  • Select “My advanced degree is not cooperative”
  • Select “I am applying for a grant or grant or have received a grant”.
  • Select “Other” then “Research Project Grant” and enter “FOOT-WANG” in the “Grant Name” field.

  • Applicants must meet the Prerequisites for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). the University.
  • Students are required to provide results of the following English language exams:
  • TOEFL PBT – 570
  • TOEFL IBT – 87
  • IELTS 7.0.
