The Academic Scholarships are available for the 2022/23 Academic Session to all outstanding and bright students who wish to pursue studies in George Mason University, USA.
About IHS:
The Institute for Humane Studies was founded in 1961 by Dr. FA “Baldy” Harper, a former economics professor at Cornell University. The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) is a libertarian nonprofit organization that works with students and professors across the United States.
George Mason University is a public research university in Fairfax County, Virginia. Based in Menlo Park, California for many years, IHS moved to Fairfax, Virginia in 1985 and became affiliated with George Mason University (GMU). IHS is proud to be part of the GMU community, which has built a culture that values intellectual diversity and freedom of thought and expression.
Applicable Program
Postdoc in the classical liberal intellectual tradition, open markets, individual rights, private property, peace, prosperity, self-determination/autonomy and other related topics offered by the university.
Criteria:
- To be eligible for an IHS major research award, you must be a full-time faculty member or postdoctoral researcher at a four-year degree-awarding institution.
- Applicants based in North America and UK institutions will be preferred.
Advantages:
Successful candidates will receive $50,000 for their studies at George Mason University’s Institute for Humane Studies in the United States.
