Monash University International 31 Merit Scholarship Grants

Great offer! The Monash University International Merit Scholarship Grants are available now to all well-deserving international applicants wishing to begin studies at the University for the 2022-23 academic session in Australia.

Funded through the Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence, the tuition scholarship is open to any brilliant and stunning student who needs financial support to further their academic pursuits. Successful recipients will receive $10,000 per year for the duration of their studies at the university.

Selection criterion:

Applicants must be one of the following:

  • An international student
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Intending to enroll full-time for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (coursework) at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • For freshmen, you must have received a Monash offer.
  • For current students, you must have completed at least two semesters in Australia
  • Current students in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) degree or in the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree must have completed at least three semesters.
  • Note: You cannot apply for this scholarship if you:
    • Study Australian year 12. You may be eligible for that Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence.
    • Start with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) or Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. You have to complete three semesters and apply as a student.

Application benefits:

  • $10,000 per year (48 credits) is paid per year until the minimum score for your degree is met.
  • Freshmen are invited to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a freshman leadership program.

Admission criteria:

  • Based on academic achievements.
  • Current students must have achieved a weighted average grade of at least 85
  • Students will also be evaluated on their scholarship application (500 words) and their potential to be Monash University ambassadors.
  • Freshmen are preferred.

  • Before applying for this scholarship, You must have received a full Monash course offer with no strings attached .
  • Postponement is only possible within the same calendar year.
  • Do Not Submit evidence with your application – these will not be considered.
