Selection criterion:

  • You are a bachelor’s student for a MINT subject in the first semester and have not yet completed a degree at Heidelberg University before starting your studies or will do so (at least 50% of the MINT subject must be studied)
  • You are an applicant for a MINT subject for the first semester. You have not yet completed your studies at Heidelberg University or will do so before starting your studies.

Applicable subjects:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree offered by the university for a STEM in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.

Advantages:

The university provides 1,000 euros per month and should ideally support you until you complete your studies.

Application procedure:

To apply, applicants must take admission application portal in the bachelor’s or master’s program at the University of Heidelberg. You can then complete the online exam registration form.

Required Documents:

  • CV in tabular form
  • Motivation letter
  • Certificates of university entrance qualification and foreign certificates require a copy of the original certificate, an official translation into German or English and an official conversion into the German grading system.
  • Support for MINT-related documents about prizes and awards, voluntary internships, vocational training in a MINT area, participation in AG seminars, student academies or a student course, if these are to be considered in the selection process.
  • Two letters of recommendation from professionals in the STEM field. These can be, for example, teachers, lecturers, private lecturers, research group leaders, scientific employees and lecturers as part of a student course lasting several weeks or a student academy.
