The University of Derby International Merit Scholarships for Canadian Students in the UK 2022

The International Merit Scholarship at the University of Derby for 2022 is made available to all Canadian students by the UK Government.
All students wishing to begin their studies in the UK for the 2022-2023 academic year are eligible for the scholarship.
According to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking, the University of Derby is ranked 801st. The University of Derby aims to support international students to reach their full potential and make a good impact in the world.
The Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework gives her a gold rating and the 2020 Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide ranks her in the top 20 for teaching quality. In addition, the university offers students practical training and on-the-job internships to ensure their post-graduate education is relevant to the real world.
University of Derby International Merit Scholarship Benefits:
Selected students from eligible countries will receive £1,500 towards their undergraduate studies in Derby for the duration of the course.
Admission procedure:
The candidates must use for the program they wish to study at the university before being considered for this scholarship.
Required Documents:
- Officially evaluated institutional credentials
- Scanned copy of valid passport
- Personal opinion
- Two letters of recommendation
Admission criteria:
- Candidates must have a High School Certificate or GED with a minimum 65% average in 5 subjects in Grade 12. If certain subjects are required, at least 65% must be achieved.
- Students must be enrolled at the university.
- High school diploma or GED – 80-85%,
- Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English.
