Yaaay! AUA College of Medicine is pleased to fund outstanding undergraduate students wishing to enter the University for the 2022-23 academic session.

The aim of the scholarship award program is to support applicants who are enrolling for undergraduate studies at the university.

AUA College of Medicine was co-founded by Neal S. Simon, an attorney and former President of Ross University. The American University of Antigua (AUA) is a private, international medical school in Antigua and Barbuda.

Selection criterion:

Prior to consideration of a scholarship/grant, all candidates must be accepted by AUA and provide a completed scholarship/grant application and supporting documents where applicable
Scholarships/scholarships cannot be accumulated; those who qualify for more than one will only receive the highest value award
All scholarship applications should be submitted prior to enrollment
Any changes to grants/grants will not apply retrospectively to previous grants/grant applications

Students must be residents of a country that is not the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or a South Asian country (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka).

Application benefits:

AUA College of Medicine is offering the $65,000 scholarship awarded to undergraduate students in the US at $13,000 per payment period (1-4) plus intersession.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit a complete application along with:

Certificate of residence (not older than two months from the application date)
A copy of their passport
An essay of no more than 500 words
A list of certificates and awards
A letter of recommendation, different from those used during the enrollment process.

Entry requirements:

Applicants who completed their undergraduate studies in countries with a different educational system than the United States will be evaluated on merit and are expected to have completed a pre-medical curriculum comparable to that offered in the United States

AUA’s curriculum is taught in English and all admitted students must be proficient in English. We may require any applicant to provide a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Test System (IELTS) test score and/or an admissions interview with faculty if it appears that English proficiency meets academic standards This student’s success at AU.
